How to access and use TDM in CERT
Test Day Monitor with A.I. Defense allows teachers or administrators to view students screen and online actions during the CERT exam whether administered at school or anywhere in the world. To help prevent cheating and utilizing A.I., like ChatGPT, the program alerts teachers when students take any unusual actions, like navigating away from the testing screen, spending too long on a question, or move erratically around the test. Students are informed that teachers have been alerted. Teachers can also monitor students on-screen actions to ensure A.I. sites are not being used to generate content for answers.

TO ACCESS TEST DAY MONITOR:
From the students page, choose TEST DAY MONITOR on the left-hand side.

An ADMIN will have to enable access, if it isn't enabled.

TEACHERS will simply select ACCESS TEST DAY MONITOR.

Once in TDM, there are a variety of options. The teacher must select the group of students they are currently testing to see the student in TDM.
See screenshot below for breakdown:

VIEWS FROM TDM WHEN STUDENTS ARE TESTING:
Overview of all students. Sortable by status. Selecting a student will open their testing session and teachers will see all student activity (time stamped by "mouse click"). This allows teachers to address issues and send discreet messages to students to remind them to keep working, take their time or to keep their eyes on their own screens.

Individual Student View:
Teachers have the ability to lock the assessment, see all alerts and the status of the student. **Please note- if a teacher locks a student in TDM, the student cannot access any other section until the teacher who locked their test unlocks it.
